This privacy policy applies to the HiddenFace app (hereby referred to as "Application") for iOS devices, created by David Collado Sela (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). HiddenFace is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle, not an afterthought.
Our Privacy Commitment
HiddenFace is built on the principle that your photos and facial data are yours alone. We have designed the Application to operate entirely on your device, ensuring that:
- Your photos never leave your device - All face detection and image processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad
- No data is uploaded to servers - We don't have servers that receive, store, or process your images
- No tracking or analytics - We don't track your usage, behavior, or any personal information
- No account required - You can use HiddenFace without creating an account or providing personal information
Information We Do NOT Collect
To be absolutely clear, HiddenFace does NOT collect:
- Your photos or images
- Facial recognition data or biometric information
- Your location
- Your contacts
- Your browsing history
- Any personal identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavior data
On-Device Processing
The Application uses Apple's Core ML framework to perform face detection. This processing:
- Runs entirely on your device's Neural Engine
- Does not require an internet connection to function
- Does not transmit any data to external servers
- Does not store facial data beyond the immediate editing session
Photo Access
HiddenFace requires access to your photo library to function. This access is:
- Limited to photos you explicitly select for editing
- Used only for the purpose of face detection and editing
- Never used to scan, analyze, or upload your photo library
Edited photos are saved only when you choose to export them.
Third-Party Services
The Application uses the following third-party service for in-app purchases:
- RevenueCat - For managing in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data as described in their privacy policy.
No other third-party services are used. We do not use advertising networks, analytics services, or any form of tracking.
Data Retention
Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing to retain. Your photos and edits exist only on your device.
Children's Privacy
HiddenFace does not knowingly collect any information from children. The Application processes all data locally on the device and does not transmit any information to external servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) don't apply in the typical sense. Your data remains entirely under your control on your device.
